Blog Candy card from Nana Connie

This beautiful card was made by Nana Connie.
Her blog is Here.
She got this free stamp by just leaving a comment at Karen's blog, or on this blog. Now that she made a beautiful card from her free stamp and shared it with everyone, she gets to pick out a stamp of her choice, and she picked the bear and the penguin. Hopefully we will see another beautiful card from Nana Connie.
Thank you again Nana Connie for sharing your card!
This is what Nana Connie wrote on her blog.
Christmas Kitten
I was lucky enough to win a couple of stamps from Crackerbox Palace in a blog candy draw and today's card is made from one of them. It's called 'Kitty in Holly', but I colored it to look like poinsettias. Isn't this just the most precious kitten playing in the holiday greens?
The image is colored with a combination of Spectrum Noir markers and gel pens. The edges of the punched image are colored with gold paint, and the gold dp actually has holly leaves sprinkled on it but it's sprayed with gold mist. Unfortunately, the mist shimmer makes the dp look like plain CS in the photo. The mat for the image is made with green holly print dp from DCWV. Both of those patterns just blanked out in the photo. They were pretty subtle anyway, but now they look non-existent. lol
I added the lace ribbon because I have one granddaughter who loves all things lacy, and vintage, and ornate. This card is for her. :-D I also added gold beads to the lace and they look like gorgeous gems IRL. The bow is made from sparkly gold ribbon.

One more Christmas card done! I feel like that's all I've done for the last week, and somehow I have to get several Thanksgiving cards done, too. I imagine that's what you're going to be seeing for the next month or so, holiday cards. :-D
Don't forget to stop by over at
Tuesday Throwdown. They have a new challenge up today and, even though it's my "off" week, that's no reason you can't play. :-D Happy Stamping. NanaConnie
