ATC Winter

Hope everyone is staying warm. It is getting a little chilly here in WI.

I just wanted to share with you a ATC card.
I started with tan parchment card stock and stamped some snowflakes with Brilliance ink. I cut out the two frames from Spellbinders. I left the die on the one with the saying and sponged Brilliance ink around the edges. The snowflake in the corner is a button that I cut the shank off of and added glitter to the center.

The trees have Flower Soft below them to look like snow, and glitter for the snowflakes coming down.

A Thank You and Thinking of you Candy

Hi blogging friends Vicky here this week! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends.
I thought I would do a couple of thank you cards.
The die cuts are Spellbinders,
I colored the image with Copic markers. I also colored white flowers with the same dark blue marker I used on the vase.

I used Cuttlebug Quilling flowers and put a pearl inside the center of each one.
I used a die cut for the frame under the saying and the saying itself.

The winner of last week’s blog candy of the stamps featured on one of the cards last Thursday is Pat Moore! Here is her winning comment.
"The window view is excellent. So much going on. I also like the poinsettia on the lattice. The use of the die cuts really add so much to the card. Happy Holidays to everyone."

You can win your choice of the stamps featured on one of these cards by leaving a comment at either blog. The simple requirements for a chance at winning are below and now you have even more choices of what you can win!
But first- the winner of last Thursday’s blog candy is                                                     Pat Moore!   Here is her winning comment from my blog: “These cards are super. The pup in the sock is adorable. Perfect sentiments for both.
Pat, please send me or Crackerbox Palace your address and your choice of which stamps you want (see your options below), so we can get you the stamps you have won.
My first card today is the special one I made for the owners of Crackerbox Palace. Vicky and John have received it, so I can share with you. I love poinsettias and I used the CBP poinsettia as the focal point on this card. I stamped it several times in red and cut it out, raising each layer with mounting tape. The top poinsettia has my favorite Christmas sentiment on it, Joy. I have received a lot of JOY this year working with my new friends at Crackerbox Palace!

My second card features a beautiful CBP Christmas tree as seen through a window created with a die from Memory Box. I used markers directly on the tree stamp to color it. I added some holly over a background created with a favorite Cuttlebug embossing folder.
So would you like to win the stamps featured on one of today’s cards or your choice of another CBP stamp? Here is how to win our weekly blog candy:
Vicky or Karen will post a card or two every Thursday on both blogs. All you need to do is to leave a comment on either blog and if you leave a comment on both blogs you will have a double chance to win. We hope you also want to 'follow' the blogs. Cazzy Blog Candy Card

Hi Stampers, I wanted to share with you a card that Cazzy made from some of the blog candy she won. If you would like to visit Cazzy's blog, here it is: Cazzy Time
This is what Cazzy wrote:
I am still playing with my blog candy stamps from Crackerbox Palace, this time I decided to make a square card, then I turned it into an easel card, it is perfect for this because the paper behind the cut houses is covered with the part that attaches it to the card blank.
I think this is a really neat card, I like the way she made it into a easel card so it stands up with Santa flying across the sky.
If you would like to find out how Cazzy made the card stop by Cazzy's blog and find out!
Hope you enjoyed Cazzy's card as much as I do and hope you leave her a comment.

Kelly Clark's cards from Blog Candy

Hi Stampers, I just wanted to share a couple of cards that Kelly made from the stamps that she got from Blog Candy.
The first one has a debossed frame around the imges. What a cleaver idea to frame the image and saying. She added Stickles for the snow flakes.
She named this card White Christmas
The second card Kelly called Blue Christmas.
The image and saying was stamped and cut the frame with a Spellbinder dies. While the die was still on, sponged blue ink around the image. Sparkles were added for the snow.
Kelly posted these cards on Splitcoast here are the links.

Merry Christmas Santa

Are you getting ready for Christmas? I got a little shopping done but without snow here in WI. it's hard to believe Christmas is only a couple of weeks away. But I still got out the Christmas stamps and made a couple of cards in hopes that it would put me in the Christmas mood.
I try to keep my Christmas cards more CAS. I stamped and embossed the Merry Christmas.
I stamped the image and colored it with Copic markers then cut it out as well as the red background scalloped circle with Spellbinders.

I tried to show the glasses with clear lacquer.

SAS4Kids Challenge

Hi Stampers, did you get your tree up yet? It's hard to get into the Christmas tree spirit when it is 60 here in WI. We are use to cold and snow when we put our tree up. The weather isn't stopping Karen's girls at Send a Smile 4 Kids blog making beautiful winter cards.
I wanted to share some cards with you that Karen has on her Send a Smile 4 Kids blog. Her blog is collecting cards for kids in the hospital. Here are a couple of cards made with Crackerbox Palace stamps, but there are more beautiful cards on her blog here.

It’s time for another fun challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids and this time our theme is Winter Fun 4 Kids. Your cards can be holiday cards or any winter themed cards. We have three very generous sponsors this week: The Cutting CafĂ© is giving their winner 3 digis or cutting files of their choice! And Crackerbox Palace is giving their randomly picked winner a $15 Gift Certificate! Cuddly Buddly’s winner will receive a 5 pound Gift Certificate! TEAM S.A.S will also be choosing their favorite cards for our top three and the winners will receive a blog badge and an opportunity to be a guest design team member on a future challenge. Please visit the blog to see all the great cards shared by the TEAM S.A.S. design team.

My first card above features a darling sliding snowman from Crackerbox Palace. I created a snowglobe shape for my card, did a little paper piecing and sponging, and added some snowflakes and a couple perfect sentiments also from Crackerbox Palace.

Here is one from Hilde
A snowman with leggings, hilarious, love this image from Crackerbox and the sentiment as well.
Snowflakes are a from an old punch I have had since forever and I used some silver foil papers for them, I always colour with pro markers, paper from my stash.

This one is from Lucianna

For my first card I used a 3 stamps from Crackerbox Palace called, "Rena's snowman with a heart Isabella", Rena's snowman with tree Phoebe" and the sentiment "Warm winter wishes". I combined it with some papers from MyGraphico called "G & F Let it Snow". Image was colored up with Copics and Stickles were added for some sparkle throughout
I liked the added pearl dots on the socks. (Vicky)
