Happy Valentine's Day from Crackerbox Palace!

Karen here today and I am sharing three new Valentines I made with fun stamps that are available from CrackerboxPalace. I had so much fun with the new Valentine stamps I got recently from CBP, I couldn’t stop at one or two cards. And Valentine’s Day will be here before you know it! You can win your choice of the stamps featured on one of these cards by leaving a comment at either blog. The simple requirements for a chance at winning are below and now you have even more choices of what you can win!
But first- the winner of last Thursday’s blog candy is Leanne!   Here is her winning comment from the CBP blog: “Such beautiful cards! Love the sentiment on the first & the idea of a pull out card.”
Leanne, please email me or Vicky your address and your choice of which stamps you want (see your options below), so we can get you the stamps you have won.
My first card above makes me smile and I hope it makes you smile too. Isn’t the love monkey cute? I colored him up, cut him out and hung him from a clothesline with some heart boxers.

My second card features some kissing giraffes and a perfect sentiment. The front fence piece swings open to reveal the kissing couple on the inside of the card.

My third card shows how you can make a Valentine with a beautiful stamp that some might not think would work for a Valentine or love card. But this one is for my husband who adores our white cat almost as much as he adores me:) I don’t like to color all that much so I used the spotlighting technique and colored just her eyes (green like our cat) and a little around her head, punched that out and attached on a black frame. I stamped, cut, embossed and sponged the Happy Valentine’s Day sentiment with a Spellbinders die.
So would you like to win the stamps featured on one of today’s cards or your choice of another CBP stamp? Here is how to win our weekly blog candy:
Vicky or Karen will post a card or two every Thursday on both blogs. All you need to do is to leave a comment on either blog and if you leave a comment on both blogs you will have a double chance to win. We hope you also want to 'follow' the blogs. The following Wednesday a name will be picked at random and the winner will receive:

The featured stamps that we used in one of the cards that were posted,
OR you can pick out a stamp that is worth up to $10.00 and email us your choice
OR Vicky will email you a coupon code so you can go shopping at
Crackerbox Palace store for your choice of the stamp(s) you would like with a $10.00 coupon.

For a Bonus: if you use the blog candy stamps and post it on your blog, Splitcoast or somewhere else you will be able to choose another free stamp. So make sure you check out one of our blogs on Thursday! The winner will have 2 weeks to contact Karen or Vicky.
So leave us a comment for a chance to win and come back and see us again next week!

The winner of last Thursday’s blog candy is: Grandmalee! Here is her winning comment from the CBP blog: "I'm so happy that I found you through Trenna. I stopped at your store, and I'm definately in love with your stamps! I love all of the inspiration on this blog. Your layouts are great, and you always have the perfect sentiment. Both of these cards are wonderful, but I'm partial to the Cool Beans card. I have many friends that are coffee fiends, so I could get lots of use out of this stamp. It's great how you created the focal point by folding the DP over. The addition of the bean stamp to the flap adds so much more to this awesome card. I'm looking forward to seeing more."
Grandmalee, please send me or Karen your address and your choice of which stamps you want (see your options above), so we can get you the stamps you have won.

The first card is for a friend. The heart was cut out with a Spellbinder die. White ink was added with a texture sponge, (it's kind of hard to see here). The green embellishment is one that has a pumpkin under the flower. Added flowers, heart embellishment and pearls. The saying is from Crackerbox Palace stamp.
Here is a birthday tag or use it as a card.
The cupcake is from Crackerbox Palace stamps. I cut around the image then used Martha Stewart corner punch to round the corners.

Here is the pull out card.
Hope you have a great week and hope to see you next Thursday when Karen will be here.

Another Fun Thursday at Crackerbox Palace!

Karen here today and I am sharing two new cards I made with fun stamps that are available from Crackerbox Palace. You can win your choice of the stamps featured on one of these cards by leaving a comment at either blog. The simple requirements for a chance at winning are below and now you have even more choices of what you can win!
But first- the winner of last Thursday’s blog candy is                                               Lynn!   Here is her winning comment from the CBP blog: “Both are fantastic! Love the gate fold card - and the monkey is just darling! Lynn”
Lynn, please email me or Crackerbox Palace your address and your choice of which stamps you want (see your options below), so we can get you the stamps you have won.
My first card above is a winter card for a friend featuring a sweet snowperson by Rena named Isabella (with a heart.) I colored her up and popped her over a background of embossed snowflakes in a framed border cut out with Nestabilities. I stamped the perfect sentiment (also from CBP of course) to complete the square card.

I chuckle every time I see the Cool Beans on my second card today and hope the person who receives this card will chuckle too. Aren’t they fun? I stamped and paper pieced the “cool beans” in a circle and also stamped some not as cool beans on the flap of the two sided dp. This card would work great for a congratulations card for a guy or a teenager or even a birthday card.

Blog Candy and Two Cards to Share

I cut out an oval from the dark blue card stock and then embossed it. What I was trying to do wasn't working so I put a light tan behind the cut out oval and stamped the saying on it. Made the frame around the oval with
Spellbinders. Punched out circle from patterned paper and put it on a bottle cap. The Thank You is an embellishment I bought. I used stickers for the frame around the dark blue card stock.

The card is a off centered gate fold. I cut out the octagon on the red card, then cut it out on the printed paper. I made the white frame with Spellbinders. I glued the printed paper and frame to one side of the card. I opened up the card then cut the printed paper and frame. I glued the other printed paper to the other side of the card. Added pearls. I did use a glitter pen and made a frame inside the opening, not sure if I would do this again.

It’s another Crackerbox Palace Thursday and Vicky is having issues with blogger, so I (Karen) am helping out  by posting the cards she is sharing this week.  Aren’t they fun? I  especially love the monkey one!  I will let her share the details of how she made them when she is able.

But  for now, Mr. Random has chosen and the winner of last Thursday’s blog candy is:  Leanne!  Here is her winning comment from the CBP blog: “Lovely cards. Like the snowmen all wrapped up. I'm your newest follower.
Leanne, please send me or Crackerbox Palace your address and your choice of which stamps you want (see your options below), so we can get you the stamps you have won.

Happy Winter Cards and More Blog Candy

Karen here today and I am sharing two square winter cards I made with stamps that are available from Crackerbox Palace. You can win your choice of the stamps featured on one of these cards by leaving a comment at either blog. The simple requirements for a chance at winning are below and now you have even more choices of what you can win!
But first- the winner of last Thursday’s blog candy is  Betty!   Here is her winning comment from the CBP blog: ”Love the cards especially the flowers on the red and green card they are such an inspiration to we who have just started to do cards in 2012.
Betty, please email me or CrackerboxPalace your address and your choice of which stamps you want (see your options below), so we can get you the stamps you have won.
The funny fellow featured in the card above just cracks me up. This card would be perfect to send to someone like my sister who winters in Arizona. I stamped him and did some coloring and paper piecing, then cut him out with a circle Nestabilities die. I sponged the edges and placed him on a grey square card under a strip of snowflakes (Martha Stewart border punch.) The sentiment is perfect for this picture and was stamped and cut out with another nestie die. I added a few extra snowflakes to complete the card.
My second card features a darling snowman duo all wrapped up. I left their wrap white because I was thinking it was an igloo. But now I look at it again, it is a wrap and could be any color you want to make it. Once again I did a little coloring and cut out with a Nestabilities circle die, layering onto a scalloped circle. The paper is a fun flannel or sweatshirt look two sided paper by We R Memory Keepers. I did a little stitching with my Scor-bug and a thin black marker and added the sentiment to complete the card.

Card by Cazzy

I just wanted to share a card the Cazzy made with Crackerbox Palace Santa and reindeer stamp.
ox
This is what Cazzy wrote:
Christmas Eve make, delivered to a neighbour at 11:30. I was making quick cards by this time, and this was the Crackerbox Palace santa and sleigh stamped onto linen effect card which was embossed with the snowy village and I added Ice Stickles to highlight that image. Crafty Ribbons of course, and by the time I got to Boxing day and still making cards I had refined this a little but didn't take more photos so I need to make some more so I can!
