A Vintage Christmas Card

Hello Stampers,
I wanted to do a vintage Christmas card. I use to do a lot of vintage cards but have gotten away from them and have been doing more bright quick and easy cards since I don't have a lot of time like before. This card only has 2 stamps. The stockings were hung, and Vintage Stockings. I masked the bottom of the saying and stamped the top, and then masked the top and stamped the bottom. I colored it with Copic Markers. I did some shading but not all to make it simple. I sponged the brown around the outer edge of the card and mounted it on the red card stock and it was finished!

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Holidays!

Coffee Blog Hop Fall & Winter 2019

Hello Stampers!
We are joining the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Fall and Winter. The hop is from the 1st - 8th.
During the hop all of our Drink Stamps are on sale for 25% OFF!

I started to make a coffee card and I couldn't quit so I ended up with 3.
I thought Harmony looked like she had a couple of cups of coffee! She has been fun to use in a lot of different kinds of cards.

This second one I changed the heart of the coffee cup for the flower.
I used the Happiness Is... again. I sponged some Distress ink around the edges and colored the sun and cup with Copic Markers.

Thank you for stopping by!
Hugs, Vicky

Happy Birthday Wreath

Hi Stampers,
Thanks for stopping by. I am using our new wreath and the flower and vine that go with the wreath.
I stamped the wreath with Catherine Pooler Over Coffee Ink.
I colored the vine with Tombow markers, light and dark green.
The corners were punched with corner punch.
I brushed Catherine Pooler Eucalyptus around the edge.

Happy Birthday was stamped again with Catheine Pooler ink.
The background was stamped with a Watermark Ink.
Here is the wreath without the flowers.
And the wreath with flowers.
Now with the flowers with Nuvo drops. This is the finished card, TaaDaa!

Wicked

Hello, thanks for stopping by.
Today I put one of our new hats on Betty.  Isn't she cute with her hat?
I stamped Betty and the hat.
The Witch's hat with spider doesn't cover Betty but I wanted the spider on the card
so I didn't have to cut it out or around it.
I stamped the hat on a separate piece of paper, colored it with Copic markers and cut it out without the spider.
I love to use Versafine for my words.
I did mask the Wicked and stamped the saying under Better.
Then I masked never looked so good and stamped the Wicked on top.
I used Catherine Pooler inks for the background with this Crocko Effect stencil.
I liked using the Clairy Brush because the brush comes to a point so I could make a small color circle around Betty.
Thanks for looking! I think this could be used for a birthday card too.
Hugs, Vicky

Coffee Day Blog Hop

Hello Stampers,
I love coffee cards, don't you? There is something special sharing a cup of coffee with a friend.

Here is my first card. I made a birthday card that could go to any of my friends.
I cut out the border with a Spellbinder die.
I stamped the background with different coffee stamps.
Happy Birthday was stamped on a separate piece of card stock that matched the light tan.
The sentiment was edged with the same color of Copic marker I used to color the coffee bean.
Behind the die-cut out and used pop dots.
This card was fun. The saying and coffee cup is stamped on the card.
Then masked the coffee cup so I could stencil the table cloth. The chocolate is stamped on a separate piece of card stock and colored it with Copic markers.
I used Catherine Coffee color ink to stipple around the edges. I also used it on the band of the coffee cup.
The chocolate piece is popped out in the center to give them some dimension.

Here are the stamps I used on my cards.

Thanks for hopping with us!
Hugs, Vicky

Safest Day

Hello Stampers,
I love this time of year when it starts to get a little cooler and it feels like things start slowing down.
I also love this time of year because Halloween is one of my favorite holidays!
So we came out with NEW witchy stamps. I plan on using a lot of these all year long.
Here is a new stamp, Witch Wendy and an older snarky one Safest Day.

I used Tim Holtz No. 23 Mini Stencil and a cut sponge with Memento Black ink.
I lightly sponged it with the stencil on and then sponged the entire card after I took the stencil off with the ink I had left in the sponge.
I spritz the stencil with water to clean it.

Then I laid a piece of card stock over the stencil.
It cleaned it real well and gave me another background card!
We also have all of the Halloween stamps on sale this month!
Thanks for stopping by!

Three Easy Halloween Cards

Here is my first card. After I stamped the words and images, I cut out a mask to put over the words and used my stipple brushes to fill in the background.
I am going to use this saying all year!

My second card is even easier than the first one!
A witch doesn't always have to be dressed like a witch, LOL.

And my last card was just as easy as my first. Colored with Copic and used a stencil with the Clarity Brushes.

New Release And 3 Cards

Hi Stampers,
I have a couple of cards because they are quick and easy to do.
For the first one, I cut out the background with a Spellbinder die and drew a line around the die
before it took it off. Pearls were added on the points.
The next card is even easier. I stamped the wreath and then the vines in 2 different colors of green.
Added the birthday saying.
There are so many ways to use this wreath; I can't wait to find more things to put on it!
I stamped the flowers in blue and added light blue lines, and cut them out.
This card was fun: stamp, stencil, and color!

Have a great day, Vicky Briggs
