Currie's Owl charm Picture

Take all the guts out of the frame.  She used eye hooks from the hardware store and screwed them into the edge of the frame where the glass used to be.  String copper wire and beads back and forth.
Now for the owl charm...
The charm it self is made by Keepsake, it's one of their pendant.  Cut a circle of paper to fit in the charm center.   Stamp Owl in Tree on the circle, color.  Glue circle into charm.  She stamped the owl on scrap paper too, color and cut out only the face, glued to owl on circle.  She used Flower Soft for leaves on the tree branch.  She added rhinestones for accent.  After all is dry, cover with Mod Podge.  It will take quite a while for the charm to dry.  Then add a few accents charms to the copper strings with jump rings (Tim Holtz).  Idea-ology Fragments were put over stamped images and also added.
I think she did a really great job with this and it is a beautiful addition to our store in Janesville, WI.

Flower Necklace

Currie got the charm from Hobby Lobby.  First she cut out the circle of paper to fit inside the charm.  This way she would know how much space she had to work with.  From there the rest was pretty easy...stamp, color and pearl.  She glued the completed circle in the charm and covered it with Mod Podge.  She stamped with Memento and Colored with Copic markers.
We had our 'in store' anniversary last month and I wore it for good luck since I feel very lucky to have met Currie through the store.
Side note: our 'on line' anniversary is next month (July) and we will be offering free stamps with orders, check out our 'on line' store email next month.

Courage To Grow

I loved that Currie put this saying with this image.  It can mean so many things in different ways.
She used Copic markers for shading and the Tim Holtz Distress Ink for aging.  She cut out the shape from the Cricut Just Because Cards cartridge. The mirror is covered in Glossy Accents.
I have to share the inside of the card also.
All of these stamps can be found at Crackerbox Palace Rubber Stamps.

Currie's Just Peeking In

Currie used Crackerbox Palace Rubber stamps and a lunch bag!
She first cut our the lunch bag with Cricut cartridge George Basic shapes, then the frame.
She stamped the cat on white card stock and a lunch bag. Colored the cat with Copic markers. Cut out both cats.  Crunch up the lunch bag a bit.  Put the cat that was stamped on the white card stock behind the lunch bag 'peeking out'.  Prisma watercolor pencils were used to shade around the hole in the bag.  She added glossy accents for the eye which really adds a great touch.

BBQ Fun

Crackerbox Palace has some new summer stamps and Currie made this card from some of them.
She stamped the hamburger, ketchup and mustard on some great white card stock then colored them with Copic markers and cut them out.
The background white shape was made with Cricut cartridge "Just Because Cards" and then she cut it in half.  She stamped the table cloth, or picnic blanket, on the cut out piece.
The red background piece that looks like a table cloth is a piece of red card stock that she ran through the Cuttlebug and colored some squares white with Inksentials Opaque pen and marked the others with a black pen.
The inside of the card is just as cute so I had to show you that too.
