Happy Haunting House

Currie stamped the house in black on dark gray card stock.
Embossed was used on extra flying bats.
She cut out a bat using the Cricut cartridge Paper Dolls.
Covered the big bat in Flower Soft to add dimension.
There are ghosts in the window that she added with a white pen.
Stamped Happy Haunting, distress the edges and added it to the layers.
All stamps are Crackerbox Palace stamps.

Wicked Fun Angel

All of the stamps come from Crackebox Palace.
The orange card stock was embossed with Tim Holtz embossing folder and attached to the purple card.
The 2 right side corners were punched with Martha Stewart punch.
I embossed the spider webs on the left side with a Sizzix embossing folder.
The oval cutout, words and image is cut from Spellbinders.
There are pop dots behind the black card stock to bring it off of the back ground orange.
The glow in the dark spider, is just an embellishment I had.

Bats in the belfry

It's getting closer to Halloween so I will be sharing some ideas for my favorite holiday of the year.
Currie has made some great cards so I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Currie stamped Frankenstein on white card stock, colored him with Copic markers and cut him out.
Next she stamped the spider web and bats on dark blue card stock.
She glued Frank on the blue card stock.
To mount it, she first sat the blue card stock on the lime green and then stamped the saying, just in case a mistake happened, but it didn't so she then glued down the blue cs.
She put wiggle eyes on the bats.  Won't any male like this card??

This is the inside of the card.

'Just a Note' book

Currie made this beautiful note book or journal or even a photo album.
The front, back and side is made out of chipboard.  She punched holes for the eyelets and used string to put it together.
Currie stamped the images and colored them with the Copic markers.

One surprise is the blue chip that the bird is stamped on is a counter top chip that they give away at the hardward stores.  It works really well with the knob because it already has a hole in it.
The knob on the book is from an old dresser that she stamped on.
Isn't this a great idea?? I love it !!
This is the whole side where she also punched holes for the eyelets to attach the edge to the front and back.  She also added embellishments on both ends to finish the side.
The pages are attached with paper brads.  They blend in on the edge of the book, but if you look you can see the brads.  This has been a real hit in the store.

Circle Flowers in a frame

Well, Currie did it again!   Made art work for the wall.
She took it all apart and junked the glass. Then painted the frame cream (same paint as she painted her porch). She used small chipboard pieces and painted them with Shimmers.  Next cut small cardstock pieces to fit over the chipboard circles.  She stamped the flower images on the circles and then colored them with Copic markers and distressed the edges and WOW what a great piece of art for the wall!

Gossiping Ladies

Remember the ladies bridge clubs? That was quite a network.
Currie stamped the image with VersaMark and used embossing powder.
She colored it with Copic Markers, distressed the edges around the saying.
The embossed dots were done with the Cuttlebug.
Doesn't this make a great friend card?

Surfin' Madison

I know you have seen a lot of cards made from Currie Churchill, this card was given to me by her daughter, Madison who is 9 years old.  I think she did a great job on this card.
She stamped the image on the card stock and cut out the bottom of the girl.
She wrinkled up white card stock and wiped an ink pad over the creases for the water.
The sand is colored with an ink pad and cut out and put behind her girl.
The surf board is stamped, colored and cut out with Crystal Effects put on the red.
Thank you Madison for the great card.

Accident Tag

Currie made this card for her sister Dana when she decided to catch a falling bulletin board with her face at her own son's gymnastics class.
She used the Cricut cartridge "Just Because" cards to cut out the shape of the tag.
She punched holes around the card and sewed together with twine.
She put an eyelet on the tag and put a red ribbon through it and stapled it with the Tim Holtz stapler, love those little staples!
She stamped the images, and colored them.
She stamped the saying and cut it apart.  The first part of the saying she put on the front of the tag and used Tim Holtz Fragments over the words.  The second part she stamped for the inside of the tag.

Holy Cow Birthday cow

First I want to say that I am sorry for the delay on posting.
I have had problems with an upgrade, computers just don't listen very well.
But Currie has come up with a great birthday card for you.
The brown background card is embossed with the Cuttlebug and with a Cuttlebug folder.
She cut out the white card stock for the image and used Tim Holtz distress tool on the edges.
She stamped and embossed the cow stamp then colored it.
The Holy Cow birthday stamp is one stamp. She masked it and stamped the 'HOLY COW' in black and then she stamped 'another birthday' in red.
She stippled distress ink around the edges and punched the holes for the play on words.
She added a Tim Holtz acrylic piece over the words that make them stand out.
The last thing was to punch a hole in the corner and add an square eyelet and put the ribbon through.
