Let It Snow Shaker

I don't know about you, but here in Wisconsin we have a dusting of snow.
The background was embossed with Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder and white ink was used over the embossed area then added some Stickles.
Currie made this shaker card using fake snow and a square Shake It window.
She used Copic markers for the shovel and stamped the sayings with blue ink with glitter.
She put Ice Stickles around the window.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

Coffee Calendar Book

Now that the new year started we need new calendar books.
Here is an idea from Currie.  She used a old photo album.
If you are not a coffee drinker, it is still a good idea if you like to up-cycle. Use your old calendar book, put a new face on it and get the calendar pages and you have a very personal book.
Starting with an old photo album, she cut the shapes with Cricut Storybook cartridge.
Stamped it with Distress Inks and colored with Copic markers.
This could also be a address book. Good idea for next years Christmas gift for someone!

Flakey Friends

Currie used Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder for the background paper with ink over the embossed area to make the snowflakes stand out.
The white Cryogen card stock was torn for the hills. The front hill has a pop dot behind it to make it stand out and add dimension.  She used Distress ink on the edges of the hills.
She stamped, colored (using Copic markers) and cut out the snowmen.
Currie used an eraser sponge over the fragment to get rid of the shinny look and then stamped it with StazOn ink. Doesn't it look like a chunk of ice?

Card or Photo album

Hope everyone had a happy and healthy holiday!
I just didn't get time to post this yesterday-sorry.  But now that
Christmas is over and the pictures have been taken, this is an idea on how to show them off.
All of the stamps are from Crackerbox Palace rubber stamps.
The die cut used for the album is Tim Holtz / Sizzix.  The rings and the Distress inks are also Tim Holtz products. The other shapes cut out within the album are Spellbinders, Cuttlebug and Sizzix.
All the coloring is done with Copic markers.

Santa's Check List

We are getting down to crunch time on Christmas. I hope all of you have everything done and sitting in a comfortable chair sipping on your favorite beverage.

The snowflakes were embossed on light blue card stock and Saliva blue and blue were sponged over top. The opening was cut out with the Spellbinder.
The frame was cut out and embossed with the Spellbinder.
Santa was stamped on white card stock colored with Copic and put behind the opening.
The check list was stamped on light tan card stock and edges sponged with Sepia.

In the Pink

Pink is not my color but, I was challenged to do a Christmas card that was that was pink and easy to copy , so here it is. The background was embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. The dark pink scalloped square was cut with a Spellbinder.  The white card stock for the image was cut in a square and punched with a Martha Stewart border punch and then the corners were rounded.  The blue snowflakes were just garbage from the Martha Stewart punch from another project and little pearls were put in the middle.  Our snowman was colored with Copic Markers.  Happy Holidays is a sticker.

Happy Birthday Maddie

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADDIE !!
This card was made for Maddie who is having a birthday today.
I sent out the birthday gift but forgot the card.  Since we live in Wisconsin and they live in Michigan, this is the only way she would get her birthday card on her birth-day. I wanted to make something that was bright and happy.
Hope you have a great day Maddie.

Season Greetings with Branch

Chick made this card with the branch from Crackerbox Palace as well as the words. She embossed the words. The branch stamp has leaves on it but she cut them off to make a winter branch.  She embossed it and colored it with Copic markers.  The snow is Dimentional paste that she sprinkled glitter over it.  She also dotted the paste all over to look like snowflakes and sprinkled glitter over the dots.  The bird is a Martha Stewart punch.  She covered the bird with Crystal Lacquer.  Chick also edged the card with the white ink.

Here is a close up of the branch.

Card Holder from Tim Holtz packages

This is a package from Tim Holtz embossing folders.  I cut out the frame with Tim Holtz Sizzix die cut.  The background blue card stock was embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and the white embellishment is a Spellbinder.  I used Copic to color the image.  Crackerbox Palace stamps were used.

This is the top view of the package.
Hope everyone has a happy, healthy and peaceful holiday.

Christmas Ornaments from Chick

Is your Christmas tree up yet?  Here are some ideas for some more ornaments that Chick made.
Chick used Spellbinder Ornament die as well as the Scalloped circle die.
She cut out 2 of the ornaments and stamped Nativity in the middle.  Below the Nativity she used the Joy to the world stamp, but only inked the "joy".
She stamped the rest of the saying on the front of the ornament.
With using a embossing pen, she went around the opening and the edge and used gold embossing powder.  She used pop dots to add dimension.  She then added the embellishment to the bottom and the dove.
Chick made this ornament with the Spellbinder Ornament also.
She used Tim Holtz ruler to draw the lines with Stickles.
She cut the leaves out and added the berries.
She used metallic paper behind the large ornament and the smaller ornaments.
She made 2 ornaments of both sizes to put the gold thread between them.
I hope you enjoyed the ideas.
