Directions for Currie's Pocket Card

Directions to fold the pocket card:
Cut a sheet of double sided card stock to 11 X 11

Step 1:
Fold in half-5 1/2 and crease.

Step 2:
Open and fold in hald the other way. Now you will have the cs folded in quarters.

Step 3:
Cut on one of the creases. To cut a straight line, I put my paper in the corner of my Scor-Pal and used my Tim Holtz ruler because the ruler fits in the Scor-Pal. I cut the line up to 5 1/2.

Step 4:
Fold the upper left corner (the corner above the cut). I folded it at 3 1/2 on the Scor-Pal using (what I call my corner tool) to get the fold straight. You can make this fold as big or small as you wish. This is the plain color tab on the card.

Step 5:
Flip the cs over and fold the bottom right corner to the center where the two creases meet.

Step 6:
Turn the cs back over so the smaller fold is in the upper left corner.
Fold the left side over to the right.

Step 7:
Fold the bottom of the card over the top of the card.

Step 8:
Fold the left flap under the card.

Step 9:
You can either glue the back flap to the card and only use the front for tags and/or cards or you can also use the inside of the card for more messages.

Currie's Happy Anniversary Folded card

Currie made a beautiful Happy Anniversary Card. She added flower seeds, the packet was made from "Wild Card" Cricut cartridge then stamped with Crackerbox Palace stamps. The flower image is also a Crackerbox Palace stamp and Currie colored it with Copic markers and Prism colored pencils then used a edge distressor around the image. I like the flower seed idea...love, planted, growing, blooming!

Spring is Popping

Chick Alizadeh used the the word Spring from Crackebox Palace rubbe stamps. The large egg is a Spellbinder as well as the what the saying is on.  The small chicks and egg are from the new borders from Spellbinder. She drew the eyes on the egg and put white applique on the egg but did not heat it. She then drew around the eyes and add the cracks with the Copic .05 pen. She also added eyes on the chicks and colored them with Copic markers.  The grass is a Martha Stewart punch as well as the white bunnies. To add texture, she put both of the grass green paper through the Cuttlebug.

Easter Napkin

Chick made this card from a napkin that a friend gave to her.  She seperated the two layers of the napkin.  Layed the printed napkin on a sheet of meat wrappping and ironed it. She cut out the image and paper shaped the flowers (which is hard to see in this flat photo). Colored over the flowers with Smooch so they are shimmery. She also ironed the white piece of napkin to meat wrap and ran it through the Cuttlebug and inked the embossed image. The saying was stamped and cut out with Spellbinders. She took a Copic glitter marker and outlined around the saying before she took the Spellbinder die off.
I just wish this picture looked at good as the card!

Currie's Bunny Basket

Happy Easter to all!

Currie made this basket that you can use for Easter or any other occasion.  It will cost less than a bag you buy at the store and you can coordinate it with the card and occasion.
She used Memories ink. This is a nice and quick way to give any kind of gift. I just used the template for a shower gift.

3 Bunnies

Sorry it's been a while since I have put something up, we had computer problems-all better now!
Currie made this cute card with one stamp. She used Bunny in hat F02503.  Each bunny is colored a little different, she used Copic markers and Copic clear pen.  She did stamp the nose with pink ink and cut them out so they popped up a little.  She put little gems in the flower centers.
She used a Crop-a-dile and put in eyelets on the side and tied ribbon through them.  Eyelets were also put between the bunnies and red thread was used as a great embellishment.  The card looks very bright and can be used for Easter or for a Spring card-
Great job Currie!

Anything is Possible

Currie has been doing some more stamping.  She has done a great job on this card.  Doesn't this look like it would make a cute fairy tale card or a card for some inspiration for a little or even a big girl?  She took the castle from the web site and enlarged it, stamped the unicorn and daisies.  She used Copic markers, Copic glitter pen and a Gelly roll pen to color the card.
This is the inside of the card. I like how she followed the theme to the inside of the card also. It just makes the card complete.  At the end of her instructions, she added "I love your stamps", and we are happy she does!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I stamped the clouds and dusted Brillance Sky Blue for the background. I stamped the rocks and colored them with Copic markers and filled the bottom of the card with Martha Stewart grass punch and inked the tips of the grass with ink.  The leprechaun was colored with Copic also. The jar was stamped on white cs and the coin pile was stamped on the bottom of the jar and colored with glitter markers. I cut out the jar and put clear lacquer over it. The three coins were stamped on the card, also stamped on a seperate piece, colored cut out and poped up to give them dimention.  I stamped Happy St. Patrick's Day and cut the top off with Spellbinder Circle and then cut the bottom off with Spellbinder Long Rectangle Lg.
