Rest Relax Enjoy Hanging Picture

Currie first stamped the apron on fabric, then on paper.  She cut them both out and glued together.  Floss was braded for the apron ties and ribbon for the neck.  The cat was colored and cut out, the paws were curled around the floss to look like it was hanging on.  The picnic blanket was also stamped on fabric and cut out.  Cuttlebug embossing folder gave texture to the grass and distressed the edge.  Burlap covered the chipboard for the base of the picture.

Utensil background BBQ

This is just a quick and simple card, (at a couple request from some stampers at the store.)  Stamped the utensils in the background. Cut out the the green background for the hamburger from Spellbinder. Stamp, color with Copic and cut out the hamburger.  Stamp and cut by hand the saying and mount it.

***Currie just sent me some new cards for this month and they are wonderful I can't wait to share them with you!  She really put a twist on these anniversary stamps for this month.

Pig with Hotdogs

Currie used the stamp Paint Smear #2 with Distress ink-straw.  She stamped the saying over it and cut it out free hand, no straight edge and then distress the edge with paper scrapper and mat it.  Stamp 2 pigs, cut out one whole and just the nose on the other.  Use a pop dot behind the nose and put on the pig's nose.  Stamp hot dogs on a stick, color and cut out and glue to a tooth pick.  Glue pig on sign, then glue to card and mat. Punch holes on each side of pigs hand for string to help hold the hot dog stick.  Add brads in corners.  It was all colored with Copic markers.

Move over Martha w/ Burger

The apron was stamped on red checked card stock and cut out.  The apron was stamped again on red card stock. When I cut out straps, I cut big tab like ends so I had something to glue to the back of the apron.  The saying was stamped right on the apron.  The hamburger was stamped and colored with Copic.  The brown card stock behind the hamburger was cut with Spellbinders.

Let's Ketch-up

I am sorry the card is a little wrinkled, there was a small boy in the store that liked the card...
The green background was embossed with the Cuttlebug folder as well as the yellow background behind the ketchup.  The white was punched out with Martha Stewart punches, as you can see I only did the corners and the bottom and top. The ketchup bottle was colored with Copic markers.

Currie's Owl charm Picture

Take all the guts out of the frame.  She used eye hooks from the hardware store and screwed them into the edge of the frame where the glass used to be.  String copper wire and beads back and forth.
Now for the owl charm...
The charm it self is made by Keepsake, it's one of their pendant.  Cut a circle of paper to fit in the charm center.   Stamp Owl in Tree on the circle, color.  Glue circle into charm.  She stamped the owl on scrap paper too, color and cut out only the face, glued to owl on circle.  She used Flower Soft for leaves on the tree branch.  She added rhinestones for accent.  After all is dry, cover with Mod Podge.  It will take quite a while for the charm to dry.  Then add a few accents charms to the copper strings with jump rings (Tim Holtz).  Idea-ology Fragments were put over stamped images and also added.
I think she did a really great job with this and it is a beautiful addition to our store in Janesville, WI.
