Lee's In Bed All Day

Hi Friends,
How was your weekend? Happy Monday. I wanted to share with you a card that was posted on Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers. Lee used our stamps for their Vintage challenge. Hope you hop on over to see the great works of art and join their challenge. You can see Lee's blog Violent Kitty HERE to read more about her card and see the other works of art.
But this is a perfect Monday card!
I like the vintage looking paper and the rick rack. My grandma use to use rick rack on all of her aprons she would make. And love the button. And using a circle with the image almost looks like we are peeking in on her.
Here is what she put on the inside.
Thanks Lee for making such a great card!

Popcorn Wrap for Christmas

Would you like an idea for a small gift for a co-worker or friend? Ruth came up with a great idea to show someone you are thinking of them. It is quick and easy.
Ruth used red and white stripe card stock for the wrap. The pine greens are a punch.
The popcorn has white applique on it to look like popcorn.

The saying is under the flap.

Get Well Hen

Hi Crackerbox friends,
Thanks for stopping by! Here in WI. we will be getting some nasty weather this week so I thought I would post a get well idea. I hope you and your friends and family stay healthy but if you need a get well card, here is a sample.

Betty Hen and the saying is on sale for 25% off until Sunday, Nov. 16th.
So the price for Betty on cling is only $6.20 or if you like just rubber that is down to $4.55!
The price for the saying on cling is down to $3.60 and just rubber is down to $2.70. WHOOOHOOO
How great is that?!?

Don't let the size of the card startle you. She does fit onto a A2 card. I made this card to fit into a legal size envelope.
Betty was stamped and colored with Copic markers. The straw looking stuff is raffia. Not to much more to say, it's a simple card but hope you liked it.

Mad about you Valentine

Vicky here today. I thought I would do a Valentine's card for a guy. Since it was for a guy, I didn't want to add anything frilly. I try to stay with colors guys might like, and no frills.
As you can see the 'Mad about You' fits since this couple are in straight jackets, a little humor. I also used clear lacquer on their eyes and teeth to make them a little shinny. They were colored with Copic markers.
This is the wood mount stamp, I didn't use the hearts on the stamp, I cut out the image without them.
I used the Cuttlebug die from years ago for the heart.
This is the inside of the card. I used more of the hearts from the die cut. And a little more humor...'main squeeze', (in the straight jacket).

Marriage card from stamper

Vicky here today. We received a card from a stamper who used a couple of our stamps. I have to apologize for not posting this as soon as I got it, I took the picture and brought it into CorelDraw to get it ready to post but never got it on the blog. So here it is today!
I want to thank the stamper for sending us the card, we appreciate it. She used our chicken and saying on the inside of the card.
I have to guess on the technique. So I am guessing that the chicken image is stamped on a glossy piece of card stock that a marbled technique was used. The marbled technique is sponging alcohol inks on the glossy card stock. The background looks like the chicken wire was embossed with a embossing folder and sponged ink over the embossed area. I am not sure about the words, if she stamped each letter or if it is a stamp, but I like it.
The inside looks like the same marbled technique. I like that she added a feather, it adds to the humor.
I want to thank the stamper again for sending us the card.
I hope you have enjoyed the card as much as we do.
