Coffee Blog Hop Fall & Winter 2019

Hello Stampers!
We are joining the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Fall and Winter. The hop is from the 1st - 8th.
During the hop all of our Drink Stamps are on sale for 25% OFF!

I started to make a coffee card and I couldn't quit so I ended up with 3.
I thought Harmony looked like she had a couple of cups of coffee! She has been fun to use in a lot of different kinds of cards.

This second one I changed the heart of the coffee cup for the flower.
I used the Happiness Is... again. I sponged some Distress ink around the edges and colored the sun and cup with Copic Markers.

Thank you for stopping by!
Hugs, Vicky

Coffee Day Blog Hop

Hello Stampers,
I love coffee cards, don't you? There is something special sharing a cup of coffee with a friend.

Here is my first card. I made a birthday card that could go to any of my friends.
I cut out the border with a Spellbinder die.
I stamped the background with different coffee stamps.
Happy Birthday was stamped on a separate piece of card stock that matched the light tan.
The sentiment was edged with the same color of Copic marker I used to color the coffee bean.
Behind the die-cut out and used pop dots.
This card was fun. The saying and coffee cup is stamped on the card.
Then masked the coffee cup so I could stencil the table cloth. The chocolate is stamped on a separate piece of card stock and colored it with Copic markers.
I used Catherine Coffee color ink to stipple around the edges. I also used it on the band of the coffee cup.
The chocolate piece is popped out in the center to give them some dimension.

Here are the stamps I used on my cards.

Thanks for hopping with us!
Hugs, Vicky

Blog Hop with Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Spring & Summer

Hello Stampers,
Vicky here to share a couple of coffee cards with you. I have so much fun making coffee cards while I sip, actually gulp on a cup, more like a soup bowl full of coffee so I have 3 cards to show you. We have over 100 drink stamps. If you want to take a look here is the link!

The first card is with Esther and on of our In The Freezer saying.
It's a simple card with simple coloring, it's just that simple.
I stamped and Esther and saying and then cut off the bottom of the card and just added BoBunny card stock.
Oh, the BoBunny paper is buy one and get one free until May 6th!
AND everything is 20% off until May 6th!

The second one is how I feel after a couple of soup cups of coffee!
It's another quick and easy one.
Here is Harmony throwing our Tiny Daisy while she is saying what she wants.

The third one a little bit of masking. I masked the flower off and added our Love YOU. This saying also comes in a set of 5. I also added the same Tiny Daisy from the card before.
I added a couple of drops of Nuvo in the corners.
This saying is a custom made stamp that I had John make.
We make customs everyday and I had him sneak this one in for me. 😊
I used one of our stencils and the Clarity Brushes
I used a magnetic sheet under the paper with a MISTI magnet to hold the stencil in place.
I love these brushes because they unload the ink without much pressure
so you can gently lay down the ink without disturbing the stencil.

 This is the FREE stamp!
Thanks for looking!
Have a great day and enjoy the hop
Vicky

Now, on to the card I want to share with you. I am using an image that Olesya drew, one of our design team members. There are 2 stamps that you can use for inside the coffee cup or you can leave it blank.

I started with white card stock and swiped Sand Castle ink over it with a Clairty Stencil Brush.

Then I pounced on Over Coffee for more texture.
I used a Tim Holtz stencil set 3 for a splash of coffee.
I used the same colors for the saying and card stock I mounted the card on as I used on the coffee cup.
I hand cut around the saying and outlined the words with the lightest blue-B21. Then outlined the mounting card stock with the medium and darkest blue.
To match the colors I used the same markers I used around the saying.

Here is Suzy's blog for the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Blog Hop

Dragon and Bull BBQ

Vicky here today. Since the weekend is coming up and it is still summer here in WI. we BBQ any chance we get. I thought I might do a non-standard BBQ invite with a little humor, since most of our stamps are on the humorous side.
Thought I would add our fire dragon for the heat.

And added our bull (who I think is funny looking)
for the steak.
I added a jump ring in his nose.

Under the flap of the bull is the steak!

You can do the invite inside the card.
Hope you enjoyed the humor. :)

Father's Day Grill

Vicky here today. What does your husband like to do on Father's Day?
John likes to grill out. He does the grilling since he doesn't trust me, and I am not sure why since he has never let me, but I haven't really argued to do it either. But he likes to grill and have the kids over.
The apron and the stamp on it are two different stamps. We have 4 stamps for the apron.
These are copied from the wood blocks but you can get them in cling foam here.

Straight From the Heart Cookbook

Currie made this really cute cookbook. This could be given as a very nice gift to friends or family.
She has used some of our new stamps.
She colored the images with Copic markers.
The book is made out of chipboard.  On the cover she glued on the card stock on the chipboard. Currie used a corner punch to round the corners.
Currie stamped the 'Straight from the heart' stamp on white paper then glued it to one of Tim Holtz's Fragments.  Once it is dry cut around the plastic fragment. It adds a nice touch for an embellishment.
This is the inside cover.

On all of the pages she used the blank recipe stamp.
She added the stamp in the lower right corner that is blank on the stamp so you can add different images.

Currie added the bowl stamp.
This one she used the carrots.
The cupcake was used on this page and she added dots so it looks like candy dots.

A strawberry was stamped in the corner.
Currie stamped the jar and added the word 'sauce'.

The jar is blank so you can put any word on it you would like, such as: jam, jelly, or anything you like.
This is a great stamp for a meat recipe.
Currie made a lime out our 'doily' stamp.
I love the idea and it really works for a lime.
And this is the back cover.
