Betty's 3 Bugs

With the weather getting colder here in Wisconsin, Betty made a couple of get well cards.  She made a couple of different ideas with the same stamps. The jars on both cards are covered in lacquer.  The background paper on both cards were inked with a small brayer.
On the first card Ian-fluenza was colored red but when Betty put on the lacquer, it turned it orange.  She embossed their names on the background with white embossing powder.

The names were stamped with VersaMark on the background and embossed with white embossing powder under the jars.

This is the inside of the card, and it flips up for your personal note and signature.

4 Season Box

I thought I would share one of the gifts I made for a couple of my friends for their craft tables. I found the wooden boxes at Michaels.  I did 2 sides on one sheet of paper ( I used Crygon paper ). I stamped and colored with Copic markers before I glued them on the box.  I added clouds to the box and the lid so the lid would blend to the box better. I know I didn't use any of our stamps, I used mostly Stampscapes stamps, but I just love them too.

Barbara Housner's Pink Cow

Barbara Housner made this card with our Bridgette cute cow. She made this card for a magazine Simply Sentiments and had it published.  I thought it was a very different on the way she stamped the cow on pink card stock instead of making it black and white.  Thanks Barbara, I have always thought this card was very unique. Merry Christmas Ornament

Merry Christmas to everyone and hope your holidays have been happy and healthy.
I made this ornament out of the Cuttlebug die cut. I used our stamp for the Merry Christmas. The oval for the saying was cut from Spellbinder oval.  The border on top of the ornament is a Cuttlebug border and below is the Swiss dots from Cuttlebug. The top and bottom were made from Martha Stewart punches.

This is the Cuttlebug die I used for the ornament.

Ruth's Singing Penguins

The background is a little hard to see in the photo, but it is Cuttlebug's snowflake embossing folder.  Ruth is so good at reusing and very crafty.  She reused a insurance folder to make the blue with white stripe octagon from Spellbinders.  She was crafty and used our penguin in a couple of different ways. The penguin on the left was stamped on a reverse stamp and then on a couple of them, she cut off one of their arms and glued it back on so the arm pointed down.  The white cardstock that they are on is tore with glitter glued on it. It is a really cute card, thank you Ruth Fladhammer!

Christmas Tree Stand Up card

This is a real quick stand up card. I embossed the tree with green tinsel embossing powder so it really sparkles. The snowflakes are Martha Stewart punches and the stamps are from
Crackerbox Palace rubber stamps.

The side view of card. It is folded into 1/3rds for mailing so you can use a business envelope. The open side is put on top just to see that I taped it together from the inside. On the card, the white card is glued to the middle of the card so the opening is in the back of the card.

Merry Christmas with Cuttlebug background

The saying is crackerboxrubberstamps.com and the background is from one of the new large Cuttlebug background folders.  The red piece was laying around as a scrap piece and then I embossed the white to go behind it.  Usually, if I do a double layer of the same embossing, I glue the two pieces together and then emboss them, later I will have other examples. The saying and scalloped pieces are cut from Spellbinders.  Merry Christmas.

Joy Christmas Tag

Christmas is creeping closer! Here is another tag idea.  The word 'Joy' was masked from 'Joy to the World'. the small church is a Stampscape stamp and the label is from Spellbinders. The edges and center was sponged with Distress Inks.
