Fun cards from Suzy

I have some card to share with you.
Suzanne is a stamper I met when we were in Mesa, AZ. Since then she has shared some cards with me that she has made. It has been so much fun, Suzy has such a good sense of humor. I remember her smiling and laughing when she was at our booth and she likes to share the smiles by the cards that she makes.  Her line of cards are 'So Suzy' and she calls them 'snarky' which I think is a great description for them.
I wanted to share this one first since it is so bright. (I hope she doesn't mind I am sharing this) Suzy wrote to me:  I figured having some bright and cheeriness in December would be a good thing.
And isn't she right? This is just one card she will be doing in her class tomorrow.
To check out her fb page go here.
The stamps she used on the outside of her cards are not Crackerbox's stamps, but the saying she used on the inside is.
Here are some more cards that she has made.
To check out how she made the background with Liquid Pears, check out her fb page.
The inside of the card. All of these images are Crackerbox Palace stamps.
Here is another great card. We have the fisherman, but the single fish are not ours. I think any guy would like getting this card.
I hope you have enjoyed the card Suzy made, I certainly  have.

Get Well Soup

Hi Stampers.  Here is Wisconsin the weather is getting cold pretty fast, not sure where Fall went. I guess I have to get out the fuzzy socks and soft blankets. I thought I would make an idea for someone who is under the weather, a little chicken soup and a smile.

I colored our chicken with Copic markers and then added clear lacquer. Where it looks white, it's just reflection.
I cut a long strip and folded it. Measure your soup envelope and make it 1" bigger. Cut your printed card stock smaller to your taste. You only have to cut the printed card stock so it goes beyond the opening. I used 1/16 tape on the edge to close the pocket.
I thought the package was perfect to give someone for a pick me up.

Greener Grass

Hi, I hope you are having a great Sunday. Here is WI, fall has started, the leaves are changing colors and falling and it is getting cooler. So you are probably wondering why I am posting golf cards. Well, we are on our way to Mesa, AZ in a couple of days to do a show with Rubber Stamp Events. Barb posted this card on her fb page. You can see her fb page here.
If you want to find out about the convention it is here.
This is a half easel card. I just folded it like a normal card then folded the top in half. I put pop dots under the saying so it sticks up and catches the folded half. It lays flat to mail. Hope you are having good weather where ever you are.

Hello Kitty

This stamp reminds me of our cat. Our daughter lives with us until she closes on her house. Rachael has 3 dogs, with our 2 we have 5 that need to go out a number of times a day. It is impossible to keep our boy inside. Plus during the nice weather she had the windows open downstairs so he could come and go as he pleased. Now, it's 40 degrees here in WI so the windows are now all shut and he sits by the patio door and windows wanting to get out, I think he think summer is out there somewhere.
I used Copic markers to color the image.

Become Who You Really Are

Hi Vicky here today. I have a card that I made for a friend who went through by-pass surgery. She loved it and wanted to share it with everyone so she gave it back for me to use it. I used Spellbinder to cut out the pic and saying then sponged color to on it. The rose is also a Spellbinder that I inked while the die was still on and who doesn't like to get flowers.
This is close up of the lock and key. I thought of unlocking the inner you and let her out.
I have a background paper with numbers on it because numbers are important.
I also put on a measuring tape on the card.
Hope you enjoyed the card.

Buzzing Around

Vicky here today to share a get well card. I stamped the bee and cut it out. The bee hive stamp is a solid stamp. I inked it first with yellow then took a Dew Drop Memory ink pad and flicked the edge of the ink pad over the yellow ink.
I stamped the saying and cut it out with Spellbinder.
You can see the stamps on wood mount or cling mount here.

Coffee With a Friend

Vicky here today. This is a CAS card. I stamped the coffee pot and the cups twice then colored them with Copic markers and cut them out. The saying was cut with a Spellbinder and before taking off the die, I used a Spica Glitter marker to outline around the die.
Hope you enjoyed the card.

EEK

Vicky here today. Hope your week is going well. I thought I would share a Halloween card with you today. I really like Halloween, it is such a fun time.
I used our 2 stamps, the saying and the image. The saying, I stamped on green card stock and cut out the 'O' in Ghouls. The image is cut with a Spellbinder and I left the Spellbinder on the piece and sponged Memories purple ink around it then ran a black Spica Glitter pen.
The stamps are shown on wood, we also have cling mount and here is the link for cling.

Cabin With a Watcher

Vicky here today. I did a Stampscape scene with a crock that John made for me as a custom stamp. I use a stamp positioner to fit in the cabin in the back and the extra green and trees on the left of the big cabin.
These are Stampscapes new stamps. You can check them out here:

Birthday Cowboy

Vicky here today. I have a yippee yahoo birthday card to share.
It is pretty straight forward card. I stamped the barbwire in the background on a light tan piece of card stock. The cowboy was stamped on X-Press paper and colored with Copic markers.
I stamped Happy Birthday in the barbwire frame. The frame is big enough to stamp a lot of saying in it.

Hope you enjoyed the man card.

You're So Tweet

Hi to all of you. Just a quick card today.
This is one of our new sayings. I added our small bird flower on the corners, I stamped, colored and fussy cut them out. I colored with Copic markers. I think you can use this saying for just about any reason: birthday, friendship or just because.
Hope you have a great day today!

Quirky Craft Challenge Reminder

There is a picnic/BBQ challenge over at Quirky Craft.
Crackerbox are giving a $15.00, $10.00 and $5.00 coupon.
A couple of the girls made up a few more cards to share.

The first one is from Lyn. I like the way the ant is holding the sign of Life's A Picnic!
This is her crafty inside. I love how she made a tree stump out of the pop out. The ants sure do look busy!
Doris made some tags, aren't they cute? I think it's a cute idea for any kind of tag or putting on a dish to pass.

Doris also made the easel card. I like the sun she made. The ants are taking off with everything.
Cazzy made this cute birthday card. It is a gate fold. Her ants look very busy too.

Hope you enjoyed the ideas.

Dragon and Bull BBQ

Vicky here today. Since the weekend is coming up and it is still summer here in WI. we BBQ any chance we get. I thought I might do a non-standard BBQ invite with a little humor, since most of our stamps are on the humorous side.
Thought I would add our fire dragon for the heat.

And added our bull (who I think is funny looking)
for the steak.
I added a jump ring in his nose.

Under the flap of the bull is the steak!

You can do the invite inside the card.
Hope you enjoyed the humor. :)
