National Coffee Day Blog Hop With Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps

Hello Coffee Loving Stampers,
We are excited to join Coffee Loving Cardmakers for their National Coffee Day Blog Hop!

Direct Link back to Coffee Lovers blog post: http://bit.ly/2xp0WFV

First, some exciting news is that we are offering 15% OFF our drink section on our web site until Oct. 1st.

GIVEAWAY:

Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps are offering one $25.00 gift certificate to the readers that comment in the main post at  Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps post, and on all of the designers blogs during this weekend.
And let me tell you that you will be crazy with the entire collection of stamps that we have on the store! Good luck! Don’t forget to take advantage of all the September’s Promotions!!!

Now, on to the card I want to share with you. I am using an image that Olesya drew, one of our design team members. There are 2 stamps that you can use for inside the coffee cup or you can leave it blank.

I started with white card stock and swiped Sand Castle ink over it with a Clairty Stencil Brush.

Then I pounced on Over Coffee for more texture.
I used a Tim Holtz stencil set 3 for a splash of coffee.
I used the same colors for the saying and card stock I mounted the card on as I used on the coffee cup.
I hand cut around the saying and outlined the words with the lightest blue-B21. Then outlined the mounting card stock with the medium and darkest blue.
To match the colors I used the same markers I used around the saying.

Here is Suzy's blog for the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Blog Hop
Just a couple of days left to get your Halloween stamps on sale!

Coming in October!
AND the Fall and Thanksgiving stamps will be 15% OFF all month.
Thanks for stopping by,
Hugs, Vicky

Color Your Life

Hello Stampers,
I am using Catherine Pooler inks, and I love the colors' brightness. I decided to do (probably the last) summer card of the year.
The inks are so juicy it only takes a light love tap to cover your stamp.
I didn't use my MISTI, just my acrylic blocks, because the ink has such good coverage.
I did let the stamp sit on the paper for just a couple of seconds so the card stock could absorb the ink.

I am excited to find out how the ink works with each other.
It has great coverage but also stamps over a color, so it looks almost transparent but not muddy!
The flower is Tiara, and then Tutti Frutti was tapped on the edges.
I love how this looks.

 I do this a lot,
1...I am too lazy to find a color in my stash to match,
2...I want it to match exactly,
3...when we are on the road, I don't have to take a lot of colored card stock!

This is just a scrap piece of card stock that I inked with the brush.

 I cut around the saying.

So now the color around the saying matches the flower.

I also inked around the edges of another white piece of card stock for my base card so it matched the one around the saying.
Flowers- Petal Flower 3
Leaves-Leaf 5
Thank you for taking the time to look,
Vicky

Warm Winter Wishes Cocoa Card

Hello, I hope you are staying warm! Here in Wisconsin, it's a bit chilly.
Having the theme of winter using coffee or cocoa, I decided to use cocoa. I am an avid coffee drinker but love the saying and the image.

Happiness Is... and hot cocoa and you by my side has been stamped with VersaFine Sepia and embossed with clear embossing powder.
I like the Happiness Is stamp because there are 18 stamps in this series, and many others you could add.
I added glitter glue to the snowflakes to add some sparkle.
I stamped the Snowman Cup with Memento ink and colored it with Copic markers.
Stay warm and have some cocoa!

Joy Tag

Christmas is coming fast!
Do you use a tag as a tag/card when giving a gift?
When time is short, like it is when Christmas comes screaming in, I do.
Here is an idea for you for a tag or a card.
The 3 dots in the upper right corner are Nuvo covered in glitter, a little like tiny snowballs.
Not sure if this shows that the ornament has lacquer over it to make it shinny.
Here is the link to find the stamps.
So Suzy Stamps.com
Hope you enjoyed the idea.

Happy Anniversary to the King and Queen

Hi Stampers, Vicky here today. I have another new(ish) stamp in our collection today. We had a few female stamps that we made bigger. We wanted our women to stand out and they do. Here is the Queen Of Everything and her King Louie.
I stamped the purple card stock and then embossed it.
When we made this stamp, we separated the words~ Happy Anniversary and the words~ To a Wonderful Couple so you could easily ink them separately to stamp them where you want them.

Hope you enjoyed the card.
Friendly hugs, Vicky

It's Good To Be The King

Hi Friends, Vicky here today. With Father's Day coming up I did a CAS card.
We have some 40+ new stamps. John just pressed one of the plates and I had to share 2 of the stamps with you today.
King Louie talked (demanded, as kings do) to me and said he wanted to be the first to be stamped. Do you hear your stamps talking to you too? LOL. Well, he was inked and so was his saying. I made him into a Father's Day card here. He was so happy to be inked, I made 2 others that I will share later. Oh, our new Queen Of Everything is on one of the cards (she also was demanding  that she wanted to be inked too).
He is not on the web site, he is that new. You will need to email me.

St. Pat's Beer

Hi, Vicky here today. Well on to St. Pat's Day.
Valentine's Day is over so on to another fun occasion. Do you wear one of those buttons: Kiss Me I'm Irish? Or pinch someone who is wearing orange? OH I remember green beer many, many years ago.
Well, to the card. I sponged the background with brown ink on tan card stock. The saying is on our Poster. I did stamp it on darker tan c/s and then again on light c/s. I cut out the light and put it on the darker c/s so it looks like paper on the board. And sponged a little brown around the edges.
Colored the happy leprechaun with Copic markers, (but I didn't make the beer green).

Friendly Crackerbox Hugs, Vicky

Kitty Cat Birthday

Happy Monday morning, friends.
Did you get some snow yesterday? We got a few inches here in WI. so I was able to go down to my stamping area and got some inky fingers.
This is one of the projects I got done. I used our Kitty Cat Birthday and our Sleeping Cat. I used Copic markers to color our cat.
I also used Elizabeth Craft 951-Tags, I cut more than one tag. I have dark green behind the lighter top layer of the tag.

Thanks for stopping by and hoped you enjoyed the birthday tag.
Friendly hugs, Vicky

Crazy In Love

Hi friends, Vicky here today.  Are you crazy in love???
This card was made a couple of years ago. I posted this because it is a throw back from the days we used slide frames. This frame is an extra large one. I stamped the hearts on it and popped it up with pop dots.
Our Mad In Love stamp is colored with Copic.
If you notice, the couple are in straight jackets because they are 'Crazy in Love'.

Valentine's Day card with Crackerbox stamps

Hi, Vicky here today. I got back from CHA on Wednesday and will get the pictures straighten out and blog those this weekend. I saw a lot of new and exciting things so stop back and check it out.

But for today, I am posting a Valentine's Card.
I started the card with paper pieces I had on my desk just sitting there wanting to be used. I found the dotted piece big enough to cut a frame with a Spellbinder die and embossed it. The white piece is Ex-press paper and also cut with Spellbinder and embossed. I stamped our lady and colored her with Copic markers.
The heart was cut from Spellbinder heart die and embossed in both sizes. The LOVE is and embellishment I found in my stash.
The pearls were put on the front and back of the saying. I also added the pearls at the bottom of the image. When I bought the string of pearls, they were all connected together at one end. I cut 5 strings off of the bunch and they are attached to the bottom pearl, free to move.
Thank you for stopping by.
Crackerbox hugs, Vicky
