Happy Father's Day in water

Here is the other one I forgot to post so it is also late, sorry.
The blue background card stock was embossed with the Cuttlebug embossing folder that is suppose to be branches.  I put VersaMark over the embossed areas and then clear embossing powder.
The image and saying are some of the new stamps from Crackerbox. I colored the image with Copic markers and cut it out.
The saying is cut out with Spellbinders and inked around the edges.

Happy Father's Day

I am so sorry this is a little late, I thought I scheduled it to post.
Well, if this gives you any ideas, just change the Happy Father's Day to Happy Birthday or Thinking of You.
These are some of our new stamps from Crackerbox Palace. I made something quick and a little on the plain side since that's what my dad said he prefers so I thought someone might also like a quick card.  The watch and knife were stamped, colored with Copic and cut out. I tried a punch at the bottom in hopes it wouldn't make it look to 'girly' and then used the silver dots.
I hope everyone had a great Father's Day!!!

Lady in the Red Coat

I stamped our lady on Crygon card stock and colored her with Copic markers and then cut her out (only because I planned to put her on a different colored card stock, but then decided not to).
The background is cut out using Spellbinders. The black background is black glossy paper.
The pink is embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss dot embossing folder and then mounted on black glossy too.
I stamped the Happy Birthday on metallic card stock and cut around it. I added the rain drops as embellishments.

Lunch Box for a Teacher

Currie Churchill made this really cute teacher's lunch box. It can be given as a teacher's gift before school begins and maybe fill it with extra pencils, crayons etc. Or a gift for the teacher after the year is over and maybe fill it with chocolate.  Or the stamps themselves would be a great teacher's gift that she could use.
She cut her paper that looks like lined school paper to cover the front and the back of the lunch box.  She then cut out a design to mount the stamped images on.  All of the Teacher's stamps are new to Crackerbox Palace stamps.

She added a bottle cap for an embellishment as well as a To: tag.
She stamped the solid Crackerbox hearts on the bottle cap also.

The back of the lunch box is just as cute as the front.
She added twine to hang a tag from the handle.

Currie stamped the 'please check' on a printed piece of paper then glued it to a Tim Holtz Tags and when it is dry cut around it.
She made cards that a teacher might hand out to the kids as a gift for inside of the lunch box-great idea!?

Memory Book

Sorry it has taken so long for a posting.  Living with parents to take care of them does take a lot of time.
Currie Churchill made this Memories book from some of our new stamps that we have added to the Crackerbox Palace stamps.
She used a Sizzix die that is from Tim Holtz and layered it on script printed paper.
The book itself is cut from another Sizzix die. She covered card board with kraft paper and then cut it out.  She stamped our new watch stamp as well as one of Crackerbox's background stamp.

Currie added her own lines with a light brown marker.
The airplane is a Crackerbox Palace rubber stamp she stamped and cut out.  She then added the cute pictures of the kids.

Again, she drew her own lines to write on.  The 'Woo Hoo'  is one of Crackerbox's stamps and the 'thumbs up' is one of the new ones. She then cut out some more great family pictures.

The girls were so happy to see Stitch.
This smaller memory book is so much fun for the girls to have, just their size.  'You Rock' is one of Crackerbox's stamps and the new one is the coffee stamp.
I hope you enjoyed the idea of the memory book that Currie did.

Snapdragon, design element, rectangle frame and saying.
The Snapdragon was stamped, colored with Copic markers, added eyes and cut out.
The frame was stamped and the outer edge was colored and then the saying was stamped in the center.
I added a brad at the top of the stripe and stamped the decorative design and done!

Risky Bunny

Have you ever felt daring?
A little humor this morning.
Currie made this card 8X11 and the fold is at the top of the card.
The image is stamped on light green card stock 63/4 x 41/2. She stamped the grass in the background.
The truck and bunny was stamped and colored with Copic then cut out.
Currie also cut a strip of card stock for the road, inked it and distressed the edges with Tim Holtz tool.
Stamp the saying on the upper right hand corner.
Men especially find this card humorous, it would make a great birthday card for a guy.

Stamp the ant on the card, glue on eyes. Then add one of the cut out jelly beans for the ant to carry.
Stamp the saying.

Tri-fold Nature Card

I know this says Happy Easter, but it could say anything or you could just have the image on the front without any words.
I know I am a little behind in posting the Easter cards, I am sorry but I have been staying with my folks and taking care of them so I am not at home with my software and things. It took me days to figure out what I can use on their computer to get my images to post.

I like the job that Currie did on this card, I think you will too.
The stamps she used are Crackerbox Palace stamps also Stampscapes stamps. On all of the panels, she used Stampscape stamps for the background, and the other images are Crackerbox Palace stamps.
Currie stamped the trees and grasses with green ink and the rest of  Stampscapes with brown ink.
The front of the card on the right side with brown ink is one of Crackerbox's stamps, and the water area is chalked. The bunny was stamped and cut out. The image is mounted on printed paper and the edges were distressed.
The whole card is 11 x 5 1/4.
Scored at 3 3/4 and 7 1/2.
The panel that is 3 3/4, is the front of the card. The last panel will be 3 1/4 to be able to fold into the card.
The inside panels are stamped on a light card stock that is 4 1/2 x 10 1/4.  After the image is stamped, cut the inside panels at 3 1/2 and 7 inches. the 1st and 2nd panel will be 3 1/2 but the last panel will be 3 1/4. When you see the card open you can not tell that each panel is not the same.
Use a corner rounder punch on each corner and mount the panels.
The frame on the middle panel is our barbwire frame stamp used with orange ink.
The 4th panel (the one with the chicks) is on the back of the 3rd panel, that is also 4 1/4 x 3 1/4. The chicks are stamped and cut out.
Maybe change the images a little and you would have a great guy card for birthday or Father's day.

Sew a Tree

Currie made this card, and I know this says Easter, but you could use this idea at any time this spring and summer.
You can draw a tree or use a stencil. Poke holes on the outline.
Currie used variegated embroidery thread for the green leaves and brown for the trunk of the tree.
She stamped and colored the chick, bunny and grass around the tree.
Mount on brown card stock and then mounted on lighter brown and stamp a saying at the bottom. Finally mount on a card made with kraft card stock.

this card and I just had to share it.
She stamped the Easter egg with legs and colored it with Copic markers.  She added Smooch on the dotsw and yellow/gold areas.
Stamp the saying int he upper right corner.  She covered the 'Eggs' the Tim Holtz Fragments.
Ink the background stamps then touch the edges of the stamps with marker.
Mount on colored card stock, then on printed paper and add the brads in each corner.
Mount to kraft colored card stock.

Jelly Bean Tag

Isn't this a great tag that Currie made?
You can cut a tag out of light tan or a file folder.
Punch a small circle and glue it where the hole will go.
Stamp the outline jelly bean all over tag and color. I am not sure if you can see that Currie used Smooch on the highlights of the jelly beans.
Stamp a couple of background stamps to add interest.
Stamp Happy Easter with blue ink, cut out and use ink to distress around the edges and glue to tag.
Stamp frame, color around the edge and cut out. Stamp Spring in the center.
Stamp bunny, color and cut out and add to tag.
Stamp saying on colored paper, cut out and glue to Tim Holtz Fragments.
Cut burlap a little bigger than tag and fray edges and glue to tag.
Punch hole with Crop-a-dile, put pink ribbon through the hole and add safety pin.
I think this would even make a cute door hanger!
Happy Easter !!

Wanted Easter Bunny

Who doesn't Want the Easter Bunny?
A Wanted Easter Bunny by Currie
She stamped and colored the bunny on the poster stamp on light colored card stock then colored the outer edge of the poster with dark marker. She cut around the poster and mounted it on kraft colored card stock then on black which was put on a white card.
Currie stamped the word 'Wanted' on white card stock, cut it out and mounted it on black then to the poster.
I think anyone would find this card humorous for Easter.

She stamped the branch on white card stock, colored it with Copic markers and added a light yellow around the edges.
Then it was mounted on dark purple card stock and then on printed paper which went on kraft colored card with the fold at the top.
Currie stamped the words on printed paper.  She used Tim Holtz fragments to glue over the words.  You can use a clear liquid glue or a clear lacquer and cut around the fragments.
Thanks for looking.

Get Well with Feet

I hope you never have to use this saying, but if you do, here is an idea.

First I used the tag stamp and stamped the saying on it and cut it out.
Then I stamped the feet stamp on the printed paper as well as on Cyrgen white paper.  I colored the feet with Copic and then cut them out with the flower.  I cut off the flower stem, but since I stamped it on the printed paper it was there.  I stamped the flowers that I normally use with the small feet and put them on the tag.
The grass is the Martha Stewart punch.
This saying is also the Martha Stewart punch with the Crackebox Palace stamps.
thanks for looking

Easter Treat Can

Have you started thinking about Easter?
Chick made this can for Easter treats.
This is a regular size can with a pop top.
She used a side cutting can opener and opened the bottom of the can and then filled it with treats.  She then glued the bottom of the can back on and decorated the can.

She wrapped paper around the can, then added the lace.
All the the stamps she used are from Crackerbox Palace stamps.
She stamped, shaped and cut out the bunny and eggs.
The cutout shape is from Spellbinders and she used Martha Stewart punch for the grass.
What a fun way to give gifts and/or treats to anyone.

Reason for Drinking

I was thinking of making a guy card for St. Patrick's Day and this stamp came to mind.
I used the Poster on Wood stamp. I stamped it twice, once on dark brown and then on lighter tan. I cut out the center and sponged on brown ink around the edges and glued it on the darker brown.
I used the same brown ink around the edges of the card.
The 3 merry men are stamped on white card stock, colored with Copic markers and then cut out. I used pop dots behind them so they would stand out.

Valentine's Day Box

This is a box that Currie made from a box she received for something else.  In the inside cover she was able to slip in the new picture she made.  A box like this could be made into a birthday,  anniversary or any other occasion box.
So just in case you get a box like this for Valentine's Day, keep it and re-gift it!
Currie put glitter around the outer edge of the picture.

This is the side of the box.  Isn't this a pretty box that would be great to fill and give away?
